HTML And CSS

To create a complete web design, there are two major elements – the text and the design. To put it simply, HTML or Hyper Text Markup Language is used to code the textual part of the web page, whereas CSS or Cascade Styling Sheets is used to develop the design & part of it, which includes the layout, the functionality, the visual appeal and so much more.

Let us understand the uses of HTML first, before we delve into CSS:

• For Web Development: Most commonly displayed as the World Wide Web, every page that we find on the internet runs on a set of HTML tags. There are also hyperlinks involved that are used to connect one page to another.
• Creation of Web Documentation: HTML tags are incorporated before and after to locate a page in its true format. There are usually 3 sections in a web document – the head, which includes information such as identity of the document; a title which summarizes what we are about to read in the content and any other key word; the body which lays out whatever we want to talk about in details. Each segment is created using HTML tags, which are unique only to that section.
• Internet Navigation: One of the most common yet uses in the recent times, the whole of Internet navigation runs on HTML codes. This has been revolutionary because once a user clicks on the web page or text, these codes detect where the consumer would land and te experience that would follow.

Uses of CSS in Web development:

• Creating Content Imagery: To create a memorable experience for a user, it is important for the developer to create imagery along with the content that is worth the time. These days, users stop to read only what is visually appealing. Through the use of CSS tool, these attractive images can easily be created.
• Typography: While a HTML code can put the text in place, but what kind of text fonts will become really appealing to the customers lie with the CSS user. Without the use of fonts that are appealing, most likely the consumers wouldn’t prefer spending much time on it.
• Highlighting of the Product: Sometimes, it becomes absolutely important to highlight products or certain elements of it, which include prices, offers, names of the products and so much more. This is , after all, the role of the CSS users to highlight them in a way that would be appealing enough to the customers.
